When well-known boudoir photographer and educator Jen Rozenbaum was gearing up for WPPI 2014 this year, she was super excited to drop by the WHCC booth—so much so that she posted on her blog before her trip to Vegas: "There are a few booths I don’t want to miss this year. My plan is to start at WHCC to see the new Album that uses Premium Lustre paper I have heard so much about. I can’t wait to see the beautiful colors in the prints." Rozenbaum is no stranger to WHCC's products, and personally uses the company's Album line to create intimate keepsakes for her clients.

AlbumSamplesFinal Jen R-3"WHCC Albums are very classic and clean, and I usually buy them with just a black leather cover in the 8 x 8 size; I think that's the best size for me and my clients," Rozenbaum explains. "It's not really a coffee table book, but I want it to be bigger than just a small Album, so that my clients can give it as gifts, keep for themselves or even stick it in a drawer if they want to. I also like that these Albums don't have the split down the middle so I can do nice centerfolds, and it just keeps it simple."

And while WHCC has a wide range of cover options and customization tools available to its clients, Rozenbaum personally prefers simple black leather, photo-free covers for her Albums because she wants them to look somewhat inconspicuous…"like a little black book; black is classic. Usually girls give these Albums as a gift to a husband or a boyfriend, so when a client asks for pink or red, I remind them it's going to a guy." Rozenbaum also likes using WHCC's Satin Lustre stock for her Albums because "it's very smooth without much texture and very little glare…key things to think about when showcasing boudoir imagery."

Rozenbaum also likes WHCC's fast turnaround time. "When I order from them, I get albums back in a couple of days; it's so easy and efficient."

WHCC Marketing Specialist Lacey Lewis says that WHCC's Book and Album covers are created around hard board to give them a substantial feel, and that you can choose from a full line of cover material options including fabrics, leathers, suedes and custom photo covers. "Custom Photo covers are made with a photographic print that is laminated and adhered to the hard board cover," Lewis says. "The photo cover allows for complete customization on the front, spine, and back of the Album. This allows the photographer to use images, text and designs that are unique for each of their clients."

WHCC's New Premium Lustre Albums
Try WHCC's Premium Lustre Album paper for more vibrant colors and a look similar to traditional lustre photo Albums. An inkjet process expending seven colors is used, so you’ll get a wider range of shades generating a higher resolution, continuous tone and more vibrant colors. A protective coating is applied to give it a beautiful slight sheen.

"These Albums are the perfect way to represent your clients' most special memories," Lewis says. "Our Albums offer more unique and affordable options compared to other industry leading flush-mount Albums. Each full-page spread is printed on your choice of paper type and then mounted to thick cardstock to lay flat. Tell stories big or small with our various length and Album sizes."

Albums are available in WHCC's full line of cover materials including fabrics, leathers and Custom Photo Covers, which are available with Lustre or Metallic photographic paper, Fine Art Canvas or Metallic Canvas as well as Printed Leather. For a more traditional or high-end look, add padding to any cover option. If you want to make your Album even more personal for your client, create a Combo Cover by mixing and matching a fabric or leather option with a Custom Photo Cover.
