Nina Twardowska and Darek Łukasik work to observe and capture authentic moments on wedding days—“tears and laughter, melancholy and exhilarating joy” included. They believe these seemingly opposing emotions meld together to make a candid, emotional and romantic visual tapestry. That starts with becoming friends with their clients upon inquiry, ensuring trust between them and an effortless flow once the big day rolls around.

While they’re open to what unfolds in front of their lenses, the Canon photographers say they constantly strive for perfection in their post-production work. They do their best to eliminate anything that would distract from their subjects or the emotion they want to convey in each frame. “We aim to create cinematic stories that will stay with our couples for the rest of their lives,” they say. “Our job is to observe, to trust our gut, to put in unique effort and pay attention to the tiniest detail so that exceptional tales can be brought to life.”
