Jim Pollard

Traveling around the world working in the winter sports industry was an experience that helped Jim Pollard when he became a full-time wedding photographer. “I’m passionate about landscapes, being outdoors in all conditions, situational awareness and creating rapport with people,” he says, “so I guess this comes across in my imagery.” He aims for a fly-on-the-wall approach, even when he’s shooting portraits amid magically majestic scenes. “I want the couple to treat it as an integral part of the day,” he explains, “hanging out together as a married couple for the first time, somewhere amazing and special to them.” He adds that he couldn’t do it without his wife/boss, Vicky.
