Elopement photographers Brandon and Gabi Fox specialize in photographing adventurous couples who often choose to earn their vows (and images) via long treks to stunning vistas. Frequently, the Foxes are the couples’ only guests. “We sign as their witnesses, toast them on the mountain top and party with them as they celebrate their first moments as married folk,” they say.

Epic couple portraits “are the foundation of our success as elopement photographers,” but their documentation of the journey is equally important. Images of “the sweaty bride after a long trek, the filthy dress” and the equipment the couple brings along for the adventure all combine to tell the story of the day. As any hiker knows, there are some people with whom you’re happy to spend hours on a trail, and some you’d rather not. The Foxes are all about being great trail buddies. “The fun we have with our couples shows in the photos we take, and it’s a big part of why couples want to work with us.”
