Couples hire Andrew Pavlidis and Bec Kilpatrick of Willow & Wolf Photography when they want an adventurous wedding experience. The duo started out photographing traditional timelines and ceremonies but found themselves merging their wedding photography with their personal love for the outdoors. “We have found ourselves connecting with couples who beat to their own drum,” they say. Eventually, Pavlidis and Kilpatrick were in a niche where they are “no longer just photographers. We are sunrise seekers, climbing partners and hiking pals.”

As Canon photographers, the pair do their best to keep their editing as natural as their documentary style, and they “try to avoid trends that might look dated in years to come.” The quality of light and weather vary in the Canadian Rockies, so they use these elements as guides in showing what a couple’s day looked like.
