Wedding of the Week
When Sardinia-based wedding photographer Francesca Floris went to Rome to photograph couple Eva and Riccardo’s wedding, she was most was impressed by their attention to detail. “From the dress by designer Elisabetta Delogu Bridal to the tables, everything was amazing—very vintage, romantic and authentic,” says Floris. “Even the cake-topper was a real masterpiece, created by Le Bianche Margherite.”
The very creative couple first saw her work through some friends whose wedding Floris photographed in Sardinia in 2016. When Eva and Riccardo decided to get married, they were so inspired by their wedding that Eva also chose Elisabetta Delogu as the bridal dress designer, Floris for the photos and the bride as the wedding designer. “Everyone did an amazing job,” says Floris.
As for the ceremony, it took place in a very old church in Rome’s city center, San Giorgio, in Velabro. “It’s a 7th-century church with an elegant, column-lined interior,” Floris explains. “After the ceremony, we took some photos near the church and then headed over to the wedding venue, an amazing place called Tenuta Tor de Sordi.”
