Photographer Jun Medan of Weddings by Jun was drawn to the floral platform at this wedding in Bintulu, a coastal town in Malaysia. The decoration was inspired by the wedding of famous Malaysian artist Yuna, which was captured by 2017 Rf 30 Rising Star Qay (and featured as an Rf Wedding of the Week earlier this year).

“I’ve never photographed a dais quite like this before,” Jun says, but fortunately, it made the perfect backdrop for couple Faezi and Safini’s wedding portraits. “This is a real moment from their ceremony from the perspective of a guest.” He captured this image right as the groom kissed his new wife on the forehead—”a beautiful symbol of love.”
