Malaysia and Scotland-based destination photographer Qay of Weddings by Qay captured this bridal portrait right after a Mehndi ceremony in Hua Hin, Thailand. The bride, wearing a traditional Indian anarkali suit, was running on the beach with her new husband as Qay snapped this shot, holding his camera slightly higher than a 45-degree angle.
While the light along the beach had a wonderful glow that beautifully complemented the bride's golden wardrobe, Qay says his favorite part is the simply moment itself, "how the wind blew the dress, with the tassels moving around and the hair dancing," he says. "I like to emphasize the moment and all the little details that were overlooked by others."
(Captured using a Canon 5D Mark III and a Sigma 35mm Art lens.)
