Benjamin Edwards wanted to do a shoot with his friends to try out the Nikon Z 6 camera (which we reviewed in-depth). “Alexandra and Michael haven’t been married for too long, but it was still fun for them to get back into their wedding attire,” he says. “I used to have a fairly negative bent on styled shoots, [but] now I’m a firm believer in them. Partnering with local vendors is a great way to build relationships, and I believe we should always be working on our craft.”

Edwards, who says he now feels more comfortable using the Z 6 “on a paid gig,” set up a Flashpoint XPLOR 600 head with a 7-foot Photoflex Octodome as his main light. At camera left, he had a 3-foot octa softbox to provide a little bit of fill.
