For this wedding in Switzerland, photographers Melli & Shayne say they didn’t have to do much posing to get this beautiful, seated photo of the bridal party. At the outset of the shoot, most of the girls were sitting naturally on the couch, but as the photographers tried to squeeze the full bridal party into the frame, they began to see the gorgeous composition emerge. Once all of the girls were comfortably seated around the bride, the duo says, “we then simply let them be and told them to talk to each other.”

The room itself didn’t provide much space to move around, so Melli and Shayne used their 35mm lens and squeezed up against the wall opposite the couch to fit everything into the frame. For lighting, they relied on a large window to the right.
