Just after capturing some portraits of this bride getting ready, Bosnian wedding photographer Saša Tomić departed from the room but left the door slightly ajar. Looking back, he decided to get one more candid of her as he noticed this expression of tranquil anticipation spread across her face. Peeking his 35mm lens through the crack and using only the warm, ambient light that shined on her in that room, Tomić froze the bride in time, “just a few minutes before saying ‘I do,'” he says.
