Jessica, who is Canadian, and Ryan, who is Vietnamese, decided to get married in Hội, which, say Andrew and Tin Tin of Hipster Wedding, is recognized as an exceptionally well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port dating from the 15th century, with its buildings and street plan reflecting a blend of indigenous and foreign influences.

“They wanted a garden wedding so they chose a restaurant by the river and Jessica decided to add a cultural element into her wedding—a white lantern instead of a flower bouquet.”

Andrew adds: “Their wedding was as smooth as it could be and everybody enjoyed dancing ’till the wee hours of the morning.”
