As of February 1 of this year, Rangefinder ceased production on our print issues and shifted to an all-digital content hub at rangefinderonline.com.

We are continuing on with the same strong content that you’ve come to expect from the magazine, just online only, where it is more immediate and readily accessible. Rangefinderonline.com is updated daily and weekly with the posts you love to follow, including Photo of the Day, Wedding of the Week, Gear and Equipment Trends, Breaking Product Launches, Photographer Profiles, How-To Features, Tips and Tutorials, Video Demos, and much, much more.

Rangefinder will also continue to integrate and further align with its conference and trade show component, WPPI, to create new opportunities for the broader community to connect. For example, our Rise and Shine Business Summit for emerging wedding photographers enters its second year at WPPI at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, and we are excited to feature current and past 30 Rising Star honorees speaking at the event, most of whom are educators and mentors to wedding photographers around the globe. The Rangefinder editors also continue to have a presence at WPPI, with in-booth presentations and meet-and-greets at the Rangefinder Lounge, as well as taking part in Portfolio Review on the show floor stations. Beyond WPPI, speakers and educators will continue to share their knowledge and imagery with you at rangefinderonline.com all year round.

You can currently still access our past digital editions at https://digitalmag.rangefinderonline.com/rangefinder/Store.action. The RF Winter 2020/WPPi Showguide digital edition will reside there as well as of Feb 23.

We invite you to contact the editors with any and all questions you may have, feedback on what you’d like to see more of or if you just want to say Hello!

Thanks for your continued support and readership.

Emerald Expositions announced that as of today, Photo District News (PDN) will no longer publish content. PHOTOPLUS will still be produced this fall at the Javits Center in New York City.

“The photography industry has undergone significant changes since PDN was first published in 1980, and the needs of professional photographers have changed along with it,” states Johanna Morse, Senior Vice President of Conference Development at Emerald Expositions. “By adjusting our offerings, we can further our mission of providing streamlined, cutting-edge resources that help imaging professionals of all levels achieve their goals and live their passion.”

Rangefinder will shift to an all-digital content hub. Its final issue, combined with the WPPI showguide, will be exclusively distributed at the show, held February 23-27 in Las Vegas. There will be greater integration between Rangefinder and WPPI.

“By evolving Rangefinder and WPPI together, we will build a streamlined, centralized information hub that integrates the online and live event experience while creating new opportunities for the broader community to connect,” continues Morse.
