Photo Studio Management Software That Does It All

July 25, 2017

It’s only in beta in the U.S. right now, but Picr’s photo studio software sounds like it’s well worth exploring. All-encompassing, Picr seems to cover every aspect of your business and a whole lot more.

Although you don’t need to take advantage of all of Picr’s features, they’re designed to work together. You can build a website using provided templates and, when potential clients visit the site, you can chat with them in real time whether you’re at your computer or on the road working from your smartphone (it’s only available for iOS right now, but they’re working on Android apps too). In fact, you can get notifications on your Apple watch that there’s a message waiting for you.

Complementing this live interaction, Picr also offers lead capture and management tools. Lots of other management tools are built-in as well, so you can track your clients and bookings, send and digitally sign contracts, process payments and more.

The software helps manage images, and you can deliver your clients’ galleries (fully branded, of course) through Picr—there’s a client portal, too. A review manager lets you import those glowing reviews from sites like Yelp, Google and Facebook. Picr even promises that blogging capabilities are coming soon.

Credit card transaction fees are charged at a flat 2.9 percent rate. Right now, Picr costs $29/month and includes all the beta features. The company plans to add more features and additional upgraded packages in the future—check out more details here.
