Styling Under the Sun

After this eloping couple’s ceremony at Camden Town Hall in London, they joined photographer Eneka Stewart for a portrait session around the inner city district of Shoreditch. “There was very little time to plan any of the shots,” Stewart recalls. “I’m talking about a few seconds at each location: St. Pancras, Shoreditch, the London Tube and Regent Park.”

The shoot also took place midday under some bright sunlight, but Stewart decided to work with it rather than fight it. “I let the sunlight lead and direct me,” she says, “that way I got the most satisfying results.” Fortunately, the harsh light brought out the calm confidence of the couple, along with their sharp sense of style.
