For this engagement shoot, captured at Domino Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, photographer Nato Tuke knew she wanted to get an overhead perspective using her drone. However, since the location was a public park, she wasn’t quite sure how the images would turn out given all the moving parts and surrounding people in the frame. “The hardest part of the day was having to direct the couple while envisioning the shot from an aerial perspective yet be standing on the ground,” Tuke says.

Once Tuke found an appropriate spot for the couple to set up—somewhere that offered nice lines and symmetry—she just asked them to act natural. “I told them to simply do what they normally would be doing in the park if I wasn’t around,” she says. “I left to launch the drone down the street, flew it over and boom! That’s how this shot was created.”
