Camila Urrea experiences and approaches photographing weddings in the same way she watches sunsets in her hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico. “Each time, it’s as if I hold the keys to a once-in-a-lifetime treasure. Never will I see the same moment or execute the same edit,” says Urrea. “This is why I often speak of sunsets in the colors I use when I edit my images. The soft transitioning of colors, from bright to pastels in a satin finish, is what I give all my photographs. I do this in the most pure, raw, simple and elegant way to never forget the timelessness all photos should have.

Inspired by the impressionist movement and editorial fashion, the Canon shooter (5D Mark III and IV) says her job is to “play around with atmospheres, layouts and shadows that create a stage for the couple to feel free in.”
