With a backdrop like the Tuscan countryside in Italy, any wedding looks magnificent. For couple Anneka and Simon, who married at La Selva Giordino del Belvedere in Cavriglia, the day was gorgeous and the atmosphere, says wedding photographer Eric-René Penoy, was relaxed and easygoing.
I do not feel any stress when I know the couple is a perfect fit for my style,” Penoy explains. “I loved the friendly atmosphere from this wedding. It was very relaxed. Everybody took part in the preparations and the ceremony. It is always great to see people are involved. They sang, danced, cooked and it was easy to be part of this day. They totally trusted me from day one and I heard they were happy of the result. So it was a win-win.”

“La Selva was discovered by Anneka and Simon when they were looking for a wedding venue.” Penoy continues. “They just found it on the Internet and fell in love with the website and the pictures. They had not even visited the venue before a couple of days before the wedding day. The owner, Francesco, and his family made the process very easy before and on the wedding day. I feel very proud to be part of the day and be trusted by the families and friends. Being part of the most intimate day of their life is such a blessing. I love my job and I am always amazed by the trust people give me.”
