Who knew that it'd be a match made in heaven when a photographer referred bride- and groom-to-be Andrea and Tom to Jess Lee Latone of J.Lee Photography? "We had a video chat and laughed the entire time," says Latone, who's based in Ontario, Canada. "I could tell from their description of their rustic, simple wedding vision that our styles definitely jived."
Believe it or not, Latone says, she encountered zero challenges in shooting this wedding. Everything went off without a hitch. "The weather was beautiful, the events happened seamlessly, and the bride and groom's go-with-the-flow attitude was just fantastic."
One particularly emotional highlight was the "heartfelt gesture from Andrea's friends and bridesmaids," Latone says, who "provided her with a sash, complete with her mother's signature to tie on her bouquet. It was an emotional moment full of happy, joyful tears."
The atmosphere overall was eminently relaxed, which might have had something to do with the private and personal locale. "Everything took place at one stunning location, the mother of the groom's property," Latone says, "which made the entire event feel just like an intimate family get-together."
And Latone fit right in. "I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a wedding," she says. "That's definitely what stands out the most for me. You can see what I mean in some of the photos. It was obvious that the most important thing to the bride and groom was that they had an epic party surrounded by people they love."
