The much anticipated “first dance” vibe was totally buzzing at Holly and Baton’s wedding that took place at Searcys at The Gherkin in London.

“Guests knew the newlyweds would make a suitable entrance,” says UK wedding photographer Paulo Santos. “They had a fully choreographed dance routine planned, and the fun entrance was only the start. I wanted to capture the very first images to include movement, emphasizing the lively mood with a drag and blur effect.”

Santos used on-camera flash to “freeze facial expressions and stance while a slow shutter speed allowed me to drag and blur out their surroundings.” The image, Santos adds, didn’t benefit from color, so he went black and white.
