Time to Go Wild

Photographer Braden Young and two friends (and fellow photographers) set off on a road trip through southern Oregon and northern California, landing, in this moment during blue hour, at Bandon Beach. They had been in the car since sunrise, Young says, so they decided to get out and run around.

“We needed to let our legs stretch a bit and feel the wind and salt from the ocean on our faces, so I told them to go crazy and run out into the distance like wild animals,” Young says, “and they did just that. They ran, laughed, and skipped stones into the ocean with each other, and then we got back in the car after the sun had completely set and continued driving on our journey through Oregon and California.”
