“I was working through formal bridal party portraits and like always the moments in between presented a delicate gift,” Joe Mills (Still55 Photography, an Rf 30 Rising Star in 2014) says of this shot of Ivy, the bride’s little niece. “I saw a very brave little girl holding on to her rock, Rebecca the bride. Ivy is a beautiful little girl, she was shy but gained confidence with all the girls surrounding her. I captured several moments before and after this particular image, but this one struck me the most. The story in Ivy’s expression is powerful.”
