Maciej Suwalowski was about to photograph this couple’s elopement in Iceland when he decided to shoot an otherworldly portrait.

He set them up in their Airbnb, right in front of these big windows that looked out onto an amazing vista. “It’s a double exposure that I try to take every time I see the chance for a nice silhouette photo,” Suwalowski explains. “Here, the first exposure is their silhouette, and the second is the picture of a galaxy that was on the wall in the house.”
