Sense of Touch

Natasha Shapiro finds that hands can sometimes be overlooked in wedding photography, despite how important they are in revealing someone’s character.

“Allison and JP were some of the most wonderful and loving people I’ve ever met,” she says of this couple. “They truly just lit up the room around them with their love for each other, but it wasn’t just in their smiles and their laughter—it was how they touched each other, so tenderly and sweetly, that I asked them to just hold a pose that they fell into naturally. For me, the small details about people are the ones that really tell the story.”

(Shot with a Fujifilm X-T3 and a 35mm f/1.4 lens at f/2.5, 1/125 sec and ISO 500.)
