Justine’s Secret House, a home and venue designed in classic French-New Orleans style, is an “East Austin gem,” says wedding photographer Briana Purser, “tucked away in the bustling east 6th district.” Imagine her elation when her clients, Gabby and Patrick, choose this location for their wedding.

They found time before their ceremony to stop by the adjoining restaurant, Justine’s Brasserie, for some portraits. “Every winter, they have a different theme for their ‘winter tent,'” Purser explains, “and we happened to be there on one of the last days this particular tent was still standing. One of my dear friends was setting up for service that evening and I asked her if we could grab a few shots at the bar. She dimmed the lights, lit some candles, and Gabby and Patrick snuggled up as sweet as can be for this shot.”
