Adam and Samantha came to Ireland with 16 of their friends and family for an early morning outdoor wedding ceremony, says their wedding photographer, Katie Kavanagh of the Ireland-based Katie Kav Photography.

“They had originally planned to exchange notes before the ceremony and read them aloud to one another before separating to finish their final prep,” Kavanagh explains. “The final week in the run up to the wedding was insane and they never got round to writing their notes to one another, so they had a first touch and prayer instead. It was incredibly peaceful with only the sounds of the sea and Adam’s low voice to be heard for miles around.”

Like school kids, adds Kavanagh, the couple got so giddy and excited towards the end that they couldn’t control their laughter. “It was a wonderful moment to be a part of and I love that you can feel their excitement in the image.”
