Walking to the ceremony, Mexico-based photographer Bruno Rezza knew he had to stop the bride for a minute to capture her beautiful red wardrobe in the sunlight. Given the glow and the bride’s own radiance, he wanted to go for something simple (with some subtle contrast against the trees in the background).

“Even if you’re running low on time, stopping just for a minute to get that one shot you have in mind is totally worth it,” Rezza advises. “This is a portrait that will be remembered for the couple for years to come.”

(Shot on a Sony a9 and 35mm f/1.4 lens at f/1.4, 1/2500 of a sec. and ISO 1250—Rezza says it’s so high because he had just emerged from the bride’s room, which was much darker.)
