Photographer Amy Jackson and her partner, Jackson, were positioning these groomsmen for a portrait by the pool at Keswick Vineyards in Virginia. Suddenly, as the men were moving toward their intended spots, Amy says inspiration struck. “We saw an even better picture,” she says.

Channeling the Beatles’ iconic Abbey Road album cover, Amy asked the groomsmen to walk single file around the pool’s perimeter. “The hardest part was making sure they were evenly spaced, so we had them do the walk a few times until we got it right,” she says. “I love how the picture turned out, especially with the reflection in the pool and with the guys wearing sunglasses and tan suits—they look so relaxed and cool, which fit the vibe of the whole day.”
