Iva Rihtaric, who is one half of the wedding photography duo Iva & Vedran Weddings, based in Croatia, definitely sees the benefit of working in a photo team. Pinnacle moments like a wedding exit, where the married couple walks out into the world together in union for the first time, need to be captured, and it’s much easier to do that when you’ve got multiple angles and perspectives covered.

At this wedding in Vienna, Austria, the bride and groom had just tied the knot and were walking out of the church together. Seconds later, they would kiss, but for now, they were feeling the euphoria of the moment as they greeted their confetti-popping guests.

“One of us was concentrated on the wide picture, capturing all the excitement of the guests, and the other was focused on the reactions of the bride and groom,” Rihtaric explains. “We are aware that in these short and intense moments, emotions are at their peak—all the happiness and joy, crying and smiling become one sincere expression. We are happy we managed to capture the true essence of this wedding.”
