Photographer Alfonso Flores arrived early to this wedding in Atlixco, Mexico, to scout locations at the couple’s venue, Ex Fábrica La Carolina. Once he saw this spot—a dusty corner of an empty parking garage—he says he saw something others might quickly dismiss. He knew this location had potential, and that it would be the perfect location for the couple’s first look. “I know that not every couple would agree to have their first look here,” Flores admits, “but Valeria and Fabian trusted in my vision and let me be creative.”

Flores used the giant window in the corner as his only light source and let the couple’s style complete the story. “I really like the mood of the image,” Alfonso says. “The texture in the wall, all the lines and Fabian’s red suit!”
