Jade Gabrielle, a wedding photographer based in Alberta, and a small group of friends and family made the long trek to Tuscany for this wedding, and to thank everyone for that, the couple brought in a tattoo artist to commemorate the happy occasion. Even the bride’s mom, pictured here surrounded by her children, got in on it—her first tattoo.

“I really wanted to capture this moment, full of excitement and support, for all of them, as I knew it had great meaning and was one of the highlights of the night,” she explains. “I used my 35mm lens to ensure that I could capture everyone and their delight in the frame. I also wanted to make sure that she was the focal point and well framed, so I lowered my position and used a very shallow depth-of-field. I can only hope that Mike and Savannah will look back on this image with happy hearts for many years to come.”
