There’s nothing quite like an intimate moment between a bride and her father on the wedding day, and luckily the guests at this Ontario, Canada, wedding stepped back to let this sweet embrace happen—and to let photographer Bobbi-Jo Stuart of Love Bee Photography capture the magic uninterrupted. “The most difficult part was just stepping back and shooting candidly, and shooting around the other guests that were passing by,” the photographer recalls.

The image was captured in a hallway at the Glencairn Golf and Country Club venue that had just a few small windows providing natural light and some yellow-tinted artificial lights overhead. But Stuart didn’t mind the imperfect conditions—she knew she wanted this emotional moment to be captured in black and white for a truly timeless memory.
