Looking back, this was Sebastian Bravo’s favorite wedding shoot of 2019. The photographer, who runs Arte Visual MF out of the city of León in Guanajuato, Mexico, recalls it fondly as his first shot in Europe, after already exploring the world with them.

He had first met the couple in Marrakech, Morocco, and then they went to Mexico where Bravo gave them both a proper tour of his home country. A couple months later, the couple called up Bravo to ask him to shoot their wedding: in Germany.

“I loved this day because we had the entire day to enjoy the wedding, the shoots and after that I took some shots with them,” he says. “This photo was during their photo shoot in an open field, like 10 minutes from their home—they live in an awesome place at the south of Germany.”

(Shot on a Nikon D850 and 35mm f/1.4 lens at f/1.4 and 1/8000 sec.)

The Mexico-based photographer first met them in Morocco, then hosted them at home, and then shot their wedding in Germany, exploring the local grounds.
