Grace of The Soft Season had the adventurous task of keeping up with these globe-trotting lovebirds. After a camping trip in Mongolia, they got engaged in Tokyo and then decided on an “epic elopement” in Alberta, Canada’s Banff National Park. Grace and Jaden were aboard for a helicopter ride through the park’s mountains before landing at Marvel Pass where they would hike to the short ceremony, finishing off the day by exploring around Peyto Lake and Bow Lake.

“It was a beautiful day, but nearby forest fires covered the sky with a heavy haze,” the photographers recall, “and strong winds made it difficult to see and correctly expose. We intentionally underexposed so that we could keep the deep richness in the shadows and details in the clouds and her dress.”
