Positioning the Bridal Party for Maximum Image Impact

Eric West had a specific vision for this photo and fortunately, couple Megan and Joe and everyone in the bridal party were all on board.

“We were at the Embassy Suites in Anaheim, California and while the hotel itself was not the wedding venue, most of the women in the bridal party booked rooms to stay there the night there after the wedding and used the hotel to get ready prior to ceremony,” West explains. “I explained my idea to Megan and Joe about having each pair in their party positioned on different levels of the hotel and they all really wanted to make it happen.”

West had the maid of honor coordinating from the other side of the hotel—”I spent the most time explaining logistics with her,” he says—and luckily the distance across from where he was to where they were wasn’t very far so he didn’t need to shout or over direct too much of the positioning. “Overall it wasn’t too tricky and we got it done relatively quickly!”
