Mexico-based photographer Oscar Castro went to Big Sur in California for this wedding. “The party was very crazy and incredible,” he recalls, “so I was taking quick photos everywhere on the dance floor.”

He happened upon this scene, of the wedding party balancing a bottle of beer on a guest’s head. “I’m always looking for symmetry,” Castro says, “so I just focused the bottle in the center and tried to be as close as I can. I don’t use flash—I love the cinematic mood in the picture.”
