“Baby Shark” Dance Party

“Since having my daughter, I’ve really adjusted the way I approach family photography,” says Dani Buckle, having noticed that the photos she has framed of her are the “actual moments, not posed” ones. With some exceptions, Buckle sticks to this natural approach with families, especially because running around and having fun is, more often than not, a kid’s favorite state of being.

Here, “we were nearing the end of the session and we had just done three minutes of posed photos,” Buckle says. “I asked the kids if we should have a family dance party, and of course they said yes. We turned on the song ‘Baby Shark,’ and they all danced until the end of the song. It was the perfect way to bring our session to a close.”
