This photo was taken right after the civil ceremony between Martin and Sanja in the small town of Kršan, Croatia.

“Kršan is my hometown, but I don’t often get a chance to shoot in this old castle,” says wedding photographer Aleksandra Đorđić of Indigo Blu Weddings. “Luckily, this was my second wedding here this year, and once again I realized how magical and special this place is.”

Đorđić says that if she has a shoot after the ceremony, which she typically suggest to her couples, she always tell them to take few moments to soak up what just happened and to enjoy the first moments of marriage.

“I step out and don’t talk to them,” she says. “I hold my camera and wait for the most precious moments to unfold. It’s my favorite part of every shoot.”
