One look at this gorgeous scenic and I am transported back to my childhood, mesmerized in front of the television set as I watch The Sound of Music for the umpteenth time!

And for newlyweds Urška and Klemen and their mountain nuptials, which took place in the mountains of Slovenia, it couldn’t have been a more beautiful and perfect setting to celebrate their love.

“They are both mountaineers so if felt natural for them to get married at about 1,800m [6,000 feet] above sea level,” says photographer Filip Eremita. “This beautiful setting is located in the heart of Kamnik-Savinja Alps under the great mountain called Ojstrica.”

Eremita just loved the ambient light, the great outdoor feel and mountains all around them. “The smell of wild alpine roses just added to the atmosphere, and the couple was really adventurous and friendly.”

This specific frame was taken spontaneously, as the couple was walking to the little chapel in which they got married.

(Photographed with a Nikon D610 and sigma 17-35mm f/2.8 lens at f/9, 1/400 of a sec. and ISO 125, with all natural light and minimal post processing. The couple wanted a very natural look on the photos.)
