A Twosome Hair Toss [Rf Photo of the Day]

For this session with twin sisters India and Caitlin, UK-based wedding and portrait photographer Hannah Millard wanted to “capture something about their bond as sisters,” she says. Dressed similarly (but different), they made the same exact hair-flipping motion next to one another, though in opposite directions. “I wanted to create a sense of them as individuals with such an important connection,” Millard says, adding, “I love the surreal feel of freezing movement in hair.”

(Shot with a Canon 6D and a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 lens, Millard focused at f/2.8 at 1/2000th of a second using ISO 125.)
