Those of us of a certain vintage remember the raging debates that greeted the advent of digital photography. For years, the photographic community convulsed with charges and counter-charges about the merits (and demerits) of digital. We don’t hear as much of this debate these days but the question has never really disappeared, even as the market propelled digital to dominance.
