Alien Skin Gives Exposure X3 More Workflow Tools

March 20, 2018

By Greg Scoblete

Alien Skin is rolling out an update to Exposure X3 that adds a slew of new features and functionality.

Here’s what’s new:

* Better color controls: you can now adjust hue, luminance, and saturation for specific colors.

* More precise white balance: for RAW images that record white balance data, you can now specify precise
Kelvin values. There are new white balance presets as well.

* Printing: you can now print an image directly from Exposure, with preview and margin options, output sharpening, integrated watermarks, grid capability for printing contact sheets, and more.

* Improved collections: New images copied from a photo card are now placed in a Last Copy From Card collection. You can also choose to add images to any existing collections. Speaking of import, you also now have the option to backup images to a second location upon import.

* Enhanced keywords: You can now remove all keywords from a photo and add/remove keywords from a set. Alien Skin now supports importing keyword sets from other imaging software programs like Lightroom.

* New presets: Alien Skin’s bread-and-butter, a rich trove of photo presets, grows even larger with the addition of 15 new presets designed to mimic the look of Fuji’s camera film simulations.

The Complete Workflow Update is free for existing X3 users.
