Bay Photo Lab’s Custom Wall Previews and Online Ordering
Bay Photo Lab says its newly-released Wall Previews feature is designed to wow clients and increase sales. Even better, when you order one of the company’s Wall Displays and Custom Arrangements online, you can upload your own interior for the Wall Preview. Whether it’s an image of your own home, studio or a client’s space, you’ll be able to accurately show your work in its final display, even before you click “Add to Cart”. BenQ Unveils Two New Pro Designer Displays
BenQ will debut its newest Pro Designer displays at WPPI 2022— the 32-inch 4K PD3205U and the 34-inch, ultra-wide WQHD PD3420Q. The factory-calibrated displays boast broad Delta E≤ 3 color coverage and selectable viewing modes that reduce time and add quality to photographers’ workflows. In addition, the PD3205U recently received Pantone SkinTone Validation, so designers and photographers can have confidence in the monitor to accurately represent the world’s palette of skin tones.
“Wedding portraits eternalize a once-in-a-lifetime event,” says Jason Lee, LCD business manager for BenQ. “The company is dedicated to equipping photographers with all the tools they need to ensure excellence. Therefore, our photo editing monitors are designed to enhance efficient workflows which prioritize color accuracy.”

Geekoto’s NLX140 & NLX280 Off-Camera Strobe
With impressive performance and freedom from the AC outlet, Geekoto’s NLX140 (140 watts performance, $299.99) and NLX 280 (280 watts performance, $489.99) off-camera strobe lights from Geekoto are great assets to have on location or in the studio. With their monolight form factors and weights of just 3 pounds each, the NLX 140 and the NLX 280 are ready to travel. The lithium-ion battery in each will give you up to 300 full power flashes with recycle times from 0.4 to 2.0 seconds with a 9-stop power range and high-speed sync times as short as 1/8000 second. Additionally, the units have action-stopping flash durations from 1/220 to 1/10200 seconds.
New From Graphistudio: Storybook, Amalfi Panels & Reveal Box.Mov
Graphistudio’s Storybook is a lovely keepsake of images printed on deckled Amalfi paper made by hand by one of the last family paper mills located on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The paper is made with cotton-rag in a natural-water based process in the hand-crafted traditions to produce the paper. “Graphistudio is one of the only professional printing labs in the world to provide accuracy and longevity on such a demanding yet beautiful paper,” says the company. The Storybook is available with Italian top grain leather covers and eco/animal –friendly options and pricing starts at $126. The final detail includes a leather tie, available with a leather cover, that can be rolled and laced “like the Renaissance Age artists used for their scrapbooks.”
The Graphistudio Amalfi Panel is matted with Amalfi handmade cotton paper and printed on HD fine art paper, then mounted on a fabric panel that is ready to be displayed on a wall. “The final result allows photographers to offer a museum quality gallery for their clients,” says Graphistudio. The product is available in eight different sizes, and three panel finishes from cotton and linen fabric to wood fiber. An optional certificate of authenticity can be printed on the back, with “Made in Italy” to increase the overall perceived value and authenticate the artwork. Larger pieces include an aluminum core to maintain the shape and ensure all panels lay flat. Back panel is completely finished with linen fabric and integrated hangers.

Reveal Box.mov (Sue Bryce Collection)
The Reveal Box.mov includes the same features as Graphistudio’s top-selling Reveal Box (which accommodates fine-art matted prints) with the added feature of the .mov module. The magnetic .mov lid features an LCD screen, 2-4GB of memory, can hold a charge for 5 hours, and includes a mini USB cable for charging and file transfer. “The Reveal Box is the quintessence of a proper reveal session; it’s the natural conclusion of a journey where you celebrate beauty,” says portrait photographer Sue Bryce.

Hahnemühle’s Sugar Cane Inkjet Paper
Hahnemühle Sugar Cane extends the Natural Line with a FineArt inkjet paper made from a rapidly renewable natural raw material—sugar cane. Seventy percent of this environmentally friendly inkjet paper consist of bagasse fibers, a by-product of sugar cane processing. According to Hahnemühle, the natural white, warm-toned sugar cane paper does not contain optical brighteners and features a unique, clearly defined felt structure and tactile feel. The matt premium inkjet coating delivers excellent print results with defined reproduction of color and detail, particularly for warm hues and monochrome prints. Hahnemühle Sugar Cane is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most stringent requirements in terms of age resistance. The unique combination of sustainable sugar cane fibers, clearly defined surface texture and impressive print quality gives the artwork “outstanding expressiveness and soul.”
Nikon Z 9
The new Nikon Z 9 is Nikon’s most powerful mirrorless camera yet. The 45-megapixel, full frame flagship camera, priced at $5,500, features advanced scene detection, with the ability to recognize nine different types of subjects. It also features 8K internal video recording and can shoot 45-megapixel images at up to 20/30 fps. It’s technologically ahead of the pack, with the world’s first truly blackout free EVF, and the first camera of its kind with a sensor scan speed so fast, it completely eliminates the need for a mechanical shutter. In addition to the Z 9, Nikon has also recently released multiple NIKKOR Z mirrorless lenses, including the 400mm f/2.8 with a built-in teleconverter and a new affordable 28-75mm f/2.8 which will also be at the show.
