Interfit’s Honey Badger Unleashed is an updated variant of the original Honey Badger studio strobe that adds a battery.

The Badger Unleashed delivers 250 W/s of flash output, and sports a 15W LED modeling lamp that can output 1250 lumens when used as a continuous light source. You’ll enjoy 430 full-powered flashes on a fully charged battery. Power is adjustable over a nine-stop range in 1/10th stop increments (two more than the original Honey Badger).

The flash features HSS, TTL metering and a stroboscopic mode for rapid flashes. Recycle times clock in at 1.5 seconds.

The Badger Unleashed uses a Bowens S-mount for modifiers and includes a frosted glass dome diffuser that protects the flash tube and helps to spread light evenly throughout larger modifiers. Its built-in radio receiver is compatible with all Interfit manual and TTL-enabled remotes.

The Honey Badger Unleashed will retail for $350 and ships in November. Spare batteries will set you back $60.
