Nikon is issuing another service advisory on its D750 DSLR over concerns about the shutter.

If you purchased a D750 between December 2014 and June 2015 your models are eligible to have their shutter replaced free of charge, even if the warranty has lapsed.

According to Nikon, some D750s sold during this time frame have a faulty shutter leading to excessive shading in portions of an image.

To check whether or not your camera may be one of those affected by this issue, hit this link and enter your D750’s serial number, which can be found on the bottom of the camera.

This isn’t the first time the D750 has had shutter issues. Models purchased in October and November of 2014 were also subject to a recall.
