The Nielsen Photo Group Marketing Director, using state of the art audience measurement and communication tools, will lead the marketing team in driving our brand image, sales platform and drawing more qualified attendees, exhibitors and sponsors to our tradeshows, magazines and events. The Marketing Director, working with the Group Show Director and Director of Magazine Sales, will create and execute annual client (exhibitor/sponsor) and audience (attendee) marketing plans. The GMD will also be required to create and execute marketing plans for several event launches throughout the year. Post-show analysis and recommendations will be vital.
-BS/BA in Marketing
-7 to 10 years marketing experience
-B2B publication and tradeshow experience
-Database marketing expertise
-Experience with Alterian or related database tool a plus
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Strong project management skills
-Strong analytical skills
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Strong attention to details and ability to multi-task
