Martijn Roos

Having shot portrait, travel and nature photography in the past, Martijn Roos brings elements from all three into his weddings. A Canon shooter who saves experimentation with film for his personal work, he has developed a darker style that still harbors a sense of peace and warmth. “I am quite a sensitive and emotional person,” he says, “which makes it easier for me to get a certain sense of intimacy and emotional value in my photographs.” Roos adds that he keeps his editing pretty basic, while also imagining how he can create frames that will become more valuable with time.
