For Gina Käding and Chris Schaffrin, their wedding work is a true reflection of all the things they are fascinated by—everything from spending time out in nature and going on extensive road trips to the poetry of Dorothy Parker, the street photography of Vivian Maier and movies (ranging from screwball comedies and ‘60s black-and-white crime thrillers to just about anything Woody Allen). “Recurring characteristics of our work are the warmth and grain that to us represent key components of our work as wedding photographers,” the duo says, “capturing moments of intimacy, love and the connection between humans in a way that is inviting, authentic and unique to the people in front of our camera.”
