Francesco Spighi has done it again [yes, this is about the fourthwedding I've featured of his in a year], this time with a scenic stunner of a wedding in Italy's Chianti region. It was also a crazy fun dance party. "This was a fantastic wedding with the opportunity to take such energetic, fun dance-floor photos, some of the funniest I've shot this wedding season," says the prolific wedding photographer. "Almost all the guests just wanted to dance all night long!" [Scroll all the way down to see some very candid, let-loose celebration photos.]

Spighi continues: "Couple Cecily and Read are from Hawaii and New York, respectively. They chose me to shoot their destination wedding in Italy, without knowing that I already shot two destination weddings in their states. Curious coincidence, isn’t it, to celebrate their wedding in Italy?! They chose Tuscany, or to be more be precise, the Chianti Region (or Chiantishire, as a lot of people love to call it) surrounded by the provinces of Siena and Florence. Joy and emotions dominate a day that was characterized by a relaxed and informal atmosphere."
"I almost always work alone so it can be a challenge to pay attention to each detail, and to be involved in the guests as a group instead of to staying on side or another," Spighi explains. "In this case things were happening in two different areas of the Villa before the ceremony, so I had to plan my times and movements carefully as to not miss something important. The party was the most fun I ever witnessed in my life, but I also had to pay attention and not be involved (at least not too much!) in dancing and drinking myself."

Chicago wedding photographer Noelle Adams says that Jenny and Mike, whose wedding took place at the Oak Brook Swim and Tennis Club in Oak Brook, Illinois, met while they were competitive swimmers. “They bonded over their love of sports, and they also both have an artistic side and love to create,” Adams says. “Jenny designed the centerpieces for the wedding and Mike... When it comes to weddings, Canadian photographer Justine Boulin says her favorite way to photograph is by “simply documenting what is.” She adds, “I don’t want to photograph perfection. No family, couple or wedding is perfect. I want to photograph what’s real. Real stories, real relationships and real personalities—the perfectly imperfect.” For couple Andrew and Claire, that meant an intimate... More »
