Thanks to Malcom Gladwell, everyone thinks you need 10,000 hours of practice to master something. For most working adults, finding a spare 10,000 hours is something of a stretch.

If you have your sights set on Photoshop mastery (or just basic competence) this video series from Nathaniel Dodson of tutvid takes considerably less time than 10,000 hours and does a fantastic job canvassing the major skills you’ll need in Adobe’s flagship editor.

It may not bestow complete mastery over Photoshop, but it’s a great start.
